Slimbook Battery 4 released!

It's been a while, but after lots of hard work we are proud to announce the latest release of Slimbook Battery, our in-house developed and most used app around the world. If you're looking to get the most out of your GNU/Linux powered laptop's battery, then look no further. Slimbook battery doesn't even care about your laptop maker, it just makes is last longer.

This release increases compatibility with an even greater number of laptop brands and most relevant Debian / Ubuntu based Linux distributions. There have been plenty of under the hood changes, but besides that, here are some of the highlights from this new release:

- Better permission management. You no longer are required to use your superuser password to switch between modes.

- Slimbook AMD Controller o Slimbook INTEL Controller integration. Slimbook Battery can now sync with with our CPU controller apps to offer improved energy savings or increased performance. This combo will allow hundreds of laptop models offer unprecedent control over its performance and power comsumption.

- Improved UI with a more user friendly design with hundreds of lines of replaced / simplified code.

- Brightness, system and energy management features have been optimized for better performance or energy savings to give even further control to the user.

- Updated Github code for our community to review, update and contribute to the app development.
